Running a Discord community means storing some information about the people in it. Here's exactly what Lunar EDP keeps, why we keep it, and how to get it removed.

1. What we collect

From Discord. When you join our server, our bot stores data tied to your Discord account so its features work:

  • Your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and roles.
  • Server activity used by bot features — XP and levels, invite tracking, giveaway entries, starboard posts, reminders, tickets, forms, suggestions, and birthdays if you add one.
  • Online status and voice channel state, so staff tools can show who's currently around.
  • Moderation history — warnings, mutes, kicks, bans, notes, and automod hits.
  • Server activity logs. Depending on the event, these can include message content, such as the previous text of an edited or deleted message.
  • Anything you submit yourself, like ticket messages, form responses, suggestions, and anonymous messages.

From this website. The public pages don't use analytics or advertising cookies. If you sign in with Discord, we store a session cookie so we know it's you, and we read the Discord identity needed to confirm you're in the server. The signed-in member area then shows you data we already hold — level, invites, standing, activity, birthday, connections, games, and game servers. The join / verify flow sends what you type to us so staff can review it.

Games. If you play Wordle or Contexto on the site or during a hosted TikTok LIVE game, we store your guesses, hints, win / give-up status, streak, and leaderboard placement for that day or game. Hosts also see who guessed and from where (the site or TikTok LIVE chat).

Game servers.Signed-in members can view join details for community game servers, which may include a host, port, and password. We record that you're allowed to see a server. We don't log every time you copy a password.

Streamers. The LIVE Now page shows public profile information — handle, display name, avatar, stream title, and live status — for community members who asked to be tracked on TikTok.

From TikTok. Connecting your TikTok account is optional. TikTok asks you to approve the access first, and if you do, we store:

  • Your TikTok account identifier, username, display name, and avatar.
  • A link between that TikTok account and your Discord account, used for verification, nickname sync, video alerts, LIVE Now, and counting your guesses in hosted Wordle or Contexto LIVE games.
  • Metadata for videos you post — video ID, caption, cover image, link, and post time — so we can announce them in Discord and show them on this site.
  • The access tokens that let us read the above on your behalf. These are stored encrypted, used only for the features described here, and never shared or sold.

We only read your public videos and profile. We can't post, delete, or edit anything as you, we can't message anyone as you, and we don't touch your drafts, private videos, or direct messages.

TikTok LIVE Connector. If you connect TikTok and turn on Lunar EDP's LIVE Connector, we can receive public events from a LIVE you host — typically chat, and any other event types you enable such as gifts, likes, follows, shares, or room joins. We store a short recent log of those events (handle, nickname, and the event payload) so you can review them and so Wordle or Contexto can treat a comment as a guess. Only people who have linked the same TikTok account to a Discord member in this community are counted as players. Chat from people who haven't linked is ignored for scoring.

2. Why we collect it

To run the community and nothing else: making bot and site features work, moderating fairly and consistently, showing who's live, running daily and hosted games, sharing game-server join info with members, keeping the server secure against raids and spam, and answering your tickets and requests.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or use it for advertising.

3. Who can see it

You can see your own member-area data when you sign in. Other members may see public or shared pieces of that — for example a game leaderboard, LIVE Now, or a hosted game's guess list.

Server staff can see the data through our admin dashboard, which requires a Discord sign-in and is limited to approved staff accounts. Staff actions in the dashboard are themselves logged.

We use third-party providers to run the service: Supabase hosts our database, Railway hosts the site and bot, Discord provides the platform itself, TikTok supplies the profile, video, and LIVE data for connected accounts, and our game-server host (currently Nitrado) provides the game worlds members can join. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Feature data — levels, birthdays, presence, connections, game plays, and similar — is kept while you're a member and removed or allowed to go stale after you leave. LIVE Connector event logs are short-lived operational records. Moderation records and activity logs are kept longer so staff have the history they need, and are trimmed periodically.

5. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Some records — bans in particular — may be kept even after a deletion request, because removing them would let someone evade moderation.

Leaving the server stops most collection immediately. You can also opt out of individual features, such as removing your birthday, skipping games, turning off the LIVE Connector, or asking to be taken off the LIVE Now page.

Disconnecting TikTok. You can disconnect your TikTok account from us at any time on Connections, and you can revoke our access from TikTok's own settings under Manage app permissions. Either way we delete the stored tokens and stop collecting from TikTok, and we remove the video metadata we cached on request. Disconnecting also stops your TikTok comments from counting in hosted games.

6. Children

Our community follows Discord's minimum age of 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we'll delete it if we find out we have.

7. Changes to this policy

If we start collecting something new, we'll update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top.

8. Contact

To ask about your data or request deletion, sign in to your Lunar EDP member area or open a ticket / message a moderator in the Discord server.
